The 64th Bangladesh International Education Expo (BIEE) 2026, one of South Asia’s largest international education festivals, is set to begin in Dhaka on July 23 for students aspiring to pursue higher education and build international careers.
Organised by Fair Convener International, the three-day event will continue until July 25 at Hall-1 of the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital. The expo will remain open from 10:00am to 8:00pm each day, with free entry for students and parents on all three days.
Officially titled “Fair Convener Presents 64th Bangladesh International Education Expo 2026,” the event is the 64th edition of the Fair Convener International Education Expo Series. “Let us go with the dream of conquering the world” remains the organisation’s core mission across every edition.
In the organisers’ words, when a student sets out in search of knowledge, they do not travel alone – they carry Bangladesh with them. Paris, New York, Tokyo or London: wherever a Bangladeshi student arrives, the name of the country is written a little further into the world. It is this belief that has driven the series since 2018, now in its 64th edition.
IDP IELTS, a co-owner of IELTS, will serve as the Powered By sponsor and Official IELTS Testing Partner of the event.
Alongside the main expo, the European Education Expo, Malaysian Education Expo and UK Education Expo will also be held at the same venue during the same three-day period. As a result, students will have the opportunity to explore higher education systems, universities, courses, admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships and career prospects in countries including Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, European countries and Malaysia – all under one roof.
Universities participating directly include SEGi University of Malaysia and VIT Mauritius – the international branch campus of India’s Vellore Institute of Technology, located in the Uniciti International Education Hub in Pierrefonds, Mauritius.
Other participating organisations include AIMS Education, TopTier Education Consultant, Bright Future by Sam, Dream Study International, Edulance, Mastermind Digital, Educare Education & Migration, H&H Global Education, Admission Connect, Centre for Education (Russia), United College of Aviation, MH Global Group, Study Window and Sticker Visa, among other renowned institutions.
The event will also feature B2B business deals and networking sessions for participating educational institutions and representatives.
Students will be able to speak directly with representatives of their preferred universities and receive expert guidance based on their academic qualifications and future career plans. The expo will also provide opportunities for direct admission and application processing, scholarship information and detailed guidance on student visa procedures.
Mahmud Galib, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fair Convener International, said, “In the field of overseas higher education, the biggest challenge for students is not the lack of information, but the lack of accurate and reliable information. Many talented students see their dreams come to a halt because of incorrect advice. When a student gets the opportunity to speak directly with a university representative, the decision-making process becomes much more confident and secure. Since 2018, we have successfully organised 63 events and have seen that when accurate information is made available under one roof, it takes less time for students to turn their dreams into reality.”
“‘Let us go with the dream of conquering the world’ is not merely the theme of a single event; it is our core mission, and we have been working towards this goal from the very beginning. For us, it is not just a slogan – it is a movement. When Bangladeshi students develop themselves through modern education and knowledge, they do not only shape their own future, they also carry Bangladesh to every corner of the world. We believe this education movement will play a vital role in shaping the Bangladesh of tomorrow and the future of our young generation,” he added.
“Our young people are staying up at night in laboratories, learning to code, crossing seas and skies. There is no question about their talent – the only question is opportunity and the right guidance. If we can create that opportunity, the red and green flag will fly in every corner of the world. That is our belief,” he said.
Ashiqur Rahman Tanvir, Director of Events and Sales at Fair Convener International, said the simultaneous organisation of the European, Malaysian and UK Education Expos would allow students to compare multiple study destinations under one roof.
“A student will be able to explore and compare several destinations in one place without having to visit different locations. The expo will remain open continuously for three days from 10:00am to 8:00pm, allowing students and parents to visit at their convenience and take sufficient time to gather all the necessary information. Entry to the expo is completely free for students and parents,” he said.
He advised students and parents to carefully research and verify information about universities, courses, costs, scholarships and visa procedures before applying to study abroad.
“Students should make their decisions only after gathering and verifying all relevant information. Applying hastily or on the basis of incomplete information can lead to difficulties later. One of the key objectives of this expo is to ensure that students and parents receive accurate and comprehensive information directly from university representatives before making a decision, enabling them to apply through the correct process in an informed manner,” he added.
Studyza, a specialised CRM and one-stop solution for managing study-abroad consultancies, will serve as the digital platform for the event. The environmental awareness initiative “Target: One Crore Trees” will also be associated with the programme.
The organisers said that interest among Bangladeshi students in pursuing higher education abroad has been growing steadily. However, many students face challenges due to a lack of accurate information, misleading advice and complex application procedures. International education expos such as this one help build a direct bridge between students and universities and play an important role in enabling students to make informed decisions about higher education.
For students planning to pursue higher education abroad, scholarships or international careers, the three-day expo is expected to serve as an important platform for receiving proper guidance and exploring global opportunities.
